2024 Boys Cross Country Practice and Meet/Invitational Schedule
Before the season begins, you need to register for Boys Cross Country online with the PSHS Athletic Dept. and have an updated sports physical in the PSHS Athletic Dept.
***All Cross Country Practices and Meets are mandatory. This includes being present at the practice or meet for the entire time. Please know our Team Attendance Policy.
MAKING A COMMITMENT TO THIS SCHEDULE IS ESSENTIAL FOR THE GROWTH OF OUR PROGRAM AND SUCCESS OF YOUR TEAM IN THIS 2024 CROSS COUNTRY SEASON!! 100% PERFECT ATTENDANCE IS OUR EXPECTATION AND THE STANDARD! PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING DAYS AND TIMES, PREPARE AND PLAN AHEAD TO BE A CHAMPION.
**Your 2024 Championship Season begins on August 12th and will conclude on November 9th.
**Nike Cross Regionals/Nationals and the Foot Locker races in November and December are not mandatory, but highly recommended.
**Make sure you are on our REMIND app and our Cross Country Google Classroom for Boys Cross Country for updates and changes, as we will try and travel to different locations once in a while to run on soft surfaces. This will be determined ahead of time if we are able to use the Cougar (mini) buses. So, please check back on this schedule on a weekly basis.

Thursday, August 15, 2024 - Team Practice 2:30pm to 5:00pm at the PSHS Track. First Day of School.
Friday, August 16, 2024 - Team Practice 2:30pm to 5:00pm at the PSHS Track.
Saturday, August 17, 2024 - Annual Blue/White Team Time Trial at Channahon Community Park. Arrive at 7:00am.
Monday, August 19, 2024 - Team Practice 2:30pm to 5:00pm at the PSHS Track.
Tuesday, August 20, 2024 - Team Practice 2:30pm to 5:00pm at the PSHS Track.
Wednesday, August 21, 2024 - Team Practice 2:30pm to 5:00pm at the PSHS Track. Team Pictures at 2:30pm. We will travel to Baker County Forest Preserve for our practice. All freshmen will be on the mini bus. The mini bus will return to PSHS at 5:00pm.
Thursday, August 22, 2024 - Varsity Morning Run at 5:45am. Team Practice 2:30pm to 5:00pm at the PSHS Track.
Friday, August 23, 2024 - Team Practice 2:30pm to 4:45pm at the PSHS Track. Blue and White Night - Arrive at 6:00pm.
Saturday, August 24, 2024 - Team Practice at Blackwell Forest Preserve in Warrenville. 7:30am to 10:00am. One Cougar bus will leave PSHS at 6:45am.
Monday, August 26, 2024 - Team Practice 2:30pm to 5:00pm at the PSHS Track.
Tuesday, August 27, 2024 - Before School Team Practice 5:00am to 6:30am at the PSHS Track.

Saturday, November 9, 2024 - I.H.S.A. State Championship at Detweiller Park in Peoria. Bus Time: 9:00am - for the remaining team members and any track and field teammates.
Nike Cross Regionals: November 16th and 17th in Terre Haute, IN.
Foot Locker Regionals: November 30th in Kenosha, WI.
Nike Cross Nationals: December 7th in Portland OR.
Foot Locker Nationals: December 14th in San Diego, CA.
